Magical Toruń - 23rd of June, 2024
Toruń is a beautiful pearl of Gothic architecture. A city listed on the UNESCO world heritage list and one of the most interesting cities in Poland. It is worth showing it to foreign guests, if only for the sake of the famous gingerbread or as the birthplace of the great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus.
Itinerary
08:30 – hotel pick up and departure from Bydgoszcz
10:00 – arrival to Toruń, guided city tour (including: Old Town Square, Leaning Tower, Sze-roka Street, remains of the Teutonic Castle, Nicolaus Copernicus monument, St. Johns Ca-thedral)
12:00 – visit to the Planetarium – The Planetarium offers astronomical shows in the screening room under the dome. They tell about the size and construction of the Universe, make stars, con-stellations, and planets of the Solar System as well as history of astronomic discoveries.
13:00 – visit to the Piernikarnia Starotoruńska – place where you will learn the history of gingerbread and participate in gingerbread workshop
14:00 – two-course lunch with local touch
15:00 – time for coffee, shopping and souvenirs
16:00 – boat cruise from the boulevard in the Old Town to the opposite bank admiring the most beautiful panorama of the city
17:00 – departure from Toruń
18:00 – arrival to Bydgoszcz

Day 2, Friday , 28th June
After breakfast transfer to Włocławek and visit to the new interactive museum of Włocławek Faience (fine tin - glazed pottery)- one of the most recognizable hand painted pottery in Poland.
Włocławek pottery is well known from 19th century. Plates, bowls, kitchen utensils and containers, breakfast and dinner sets painted in blue or brown flowers were present in almost every single house in Poland.
Lunch with local specialities
Transfer to the Kujawy Etnographic Park where old cottages, barns, smithy, potter’s workshop, rotating windmill, inn, depot, school are telling the stories about the past centuries. A 19th-century village reconstructed at the Kuyavian- Dobrzyń Ethnographic Park in Kłóbka is reminiscent of a scene from a folk artist’s painting. Making butter in churns, groats in mortars, oil pressing, flailing, and washing in washtubs cause that the painting becomes alive. The heritage park is worth visiting mostly during warm season because of farm animals and blooming flowers in the gardens.

Łódź sightseeing tour - Lodz (Polish Łódź, pronounced Woodsh) is located in the heart of Poland and is the capital of the voivodeship of the same name. The third largest polish city, deserve at least short visit. The postindustrial city has an unique atmosphere and interesting monuments.
